Guntur Sannam Chilli (S4)

Guntur Sannam, traded as S4, is the classic hot red chilli of the Guntur belt and is registered as a Geographical Indication (GI). Sannam means thin or long in Telugu: the pods are long, thick skinned and red, with steady medium-high heat, and the variety is valued above all for its pungency.

Geodhara International sources Guntur Sannam through our supplier network in Guntur and Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh and Warangal and Khammam in Telangana, close to Guntur Mirchi Yard, the largest chilli market in Asia. Lots are sun dried, machine cleaned and graded by pungency, colour and pod size for consistent export-grade supply.

Our target markets include China, Bangladesh, the UAE, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. For importers, spice processors, food manufacturers, and wholesale distributors there, we offer bulk supply, competitive pricing, and complete export documentation.
